Arts and Crafts Style Patinated Metal "Lily Pad" Desk Lamp, Circa 1910–1920
Item Details
Small lamp featuring a patinated metal base with an undulating, organic form resembling a lily pad. The base supports a slender, curved metal arm leading to a conical metal shade with a rolled edge. The center of the base holds a single light socket with a paddle switch and surrounding metal ‘petal’ elements. The wiring is a period-appropriate woven cloth-covered cord, terminating in a period-style ungrounded plug. The socket bears the H&A maker’s mark. Early 20th Century, circa 1910-1920.
