A Pair of Danish Mid-Century Modern Teak Mills/Shakers, in the style of Jens Quistgaard’s ‘Anchor’ Design, Marked for Flør, Denmark, circa 1960s. A pair of Danish Mid-Century Modern teak wood mills/shakers, each featuring a stacked cylindrical body and a distinctive, elongated loop or ring handle. The lower body of each piece has two opposing cylindrical wooden pegs, used for securing the removable base and refilling the contents. One piece contains a visible metal grinding mechanism at the base, identifying it as a pepper mill. The second piece, identified as a salt shaker, has a solid wooden base with a central circular depression. The underside is stamped ‘DESIGNS FOR FLØR DENMARK.’
