English Table Lamp adapted from a Leather British Royal Artillery Shell Carrier
Item Details
A decorative table lamp crafted from a cylindrical container, simulating a leather or composite military shell carrier. The body features a painted off-white finish with a horizontal red band and is mounted on a painted black circular base. A printed or decoupaged color rendition of the British Royal Coat of Arms is displayed on the front, including the mottoes Honi Soit Qui Mal Y Pense and Dieu Et Mon Droit. The piece includes a single brown leather-look strap handle attached to the sides. The container has been converted into a lamp with modern electrical fittings, including a brass-tone socket, harp, and a finial with a blue glass sphere.
