Item Details
A large-scale rectangular sign composed of four gilt-decorated letters spelling ‘YORK’ mounted on a solid wood plank. The letters are three-dimensional, formed with bold serif fonts, and feature a gilt finish. The wooden ground is painted black on the front face, with visible mounting holes at the corners and minor surface wear. The reverse side shows the unfinished, aged wood grain with evidence of prior paint or staining residue and multiple mounting points.
