Masonic Knights Templar Ceremonial Sword with Scabbard
Item Details
This vintage ceremonial sword made by the Pettibone Brothers Manufacturing Company features a metal scabbard decorated with raised Medieval and religious iconography, a steel blade sword acid etched with images of the Knights Templar and more religious imagery and a bone grip with knight’s helmet pommel and decorated with Scrimshaw style crucifix. The sword belonged to Alfred C. Berran, whose name is etched on the blade of the sword. The ‘The Pettibone Bros. Mfg. Co. Cincinnati, O,’ is marked at the base of the blade next to the hilt.
