Grif Teller worked at the Osborne Company, in Newark, New Jersey, from 1918 until 1955. Osborne produced art calendars and was an advertising company. It played a large part in establishing Teller’s artistic career.

Condition

- craquelure and minor tear to center of canvas; stretcher mark and abrasion to upper edge; tear to lower right of canvas; accretions throughout canvas; nicks and finish loss to frame; foxing and toning to canvas verso.
