Paul Ashbrook studied under Frank Duveneck at Cincinnati Art Academy. Paul went by his German last name ‘Paul Von Eschenbach’ until having it legally changed in 1917. Ashbrook is well known for his artistic work on Barnum and Bailey Circus posters.

Condition

- tonight and discoloration to paper and mat board; tears and rips to surface of print; ink loss at tear in center of print; foxing to mat board.
