Kathleen Rabette Graf (1950-2022) was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan and graduated from the University of Michigan Ann Arbor with Honors. She worked in the Washington, DC area for over 30 years, including as a Reference Librarian in the West Wing of the White House during the Bush and Clinton presidencies. After raising their daughter, she and her husband, James, retired to Maine in 2006 where she discovered a passion for needlepoint and quilting.
