‘Rural surroundings influence my interpretation of the natural and spiritual world. Using design elements, patterns and textures, simplified forms develop to express my view of the world.
Usually starting with a vague idea, the image evolves on the plate, block or paper as I work. Developing new techniques and combining different forms of printmaking keeps the process fresh and engaging.’

- crease/bend in top right corner of mat board frame; large crease across center of backing board; nicks and bumps along left edge of backing board; bump to bottom left corner; small bump near center of bottom edge of mat board; scuffs and residue in left and right margins of mat board.
