’ Marco Zambrelli: A contemporary landscape artist from Italy’s Lombardy Region, Marco Zambrelli studied art in Milan and at the Accademia di Brera, under G. F. Usellini. He then completed his formal education with Luciano Caramel and Alik Cavaliere. Marco Zambrelli began exhibiting his art in Milan around 1970 and his first solo exhibition took place in that city in 1979…Marco Zambrelli has resided and worked in Busto Arsizio and, since 1994, has taught his complex printmaking techniques at the Liceo Artistico di Busto Arsizio. Employing multiple color printings of aquatint and etching (in both hard and soft grounds), Zambrelli hand pulls most of his plates. His beautiful landscape etchings have thus often been compared to either paintings or pastels. Over the years the landscape art of Marco Zambrelli has been the subject of one man exhibitions in Milan, Locarno, Busto Arsizio, Novara and Brescia. ’
