Four $10 Obsolete Currency Notes, Canal Bank, New Orleans, ca. 1860, and More. Lot contains four $10 obsolete banknotes issued by Canal Bank of New Orleans in the early 1860s. Notes appear to be hand-cut. Lot also includes a Series of 1953 $2 red seal United States Note, and a personal check from 1917. Obsolete notes and check show some wear, the $2 note shows no wear.
