Paul Geissler Original Etchings
Item Details
A pair of original etchings by Paul Geissler of Rothenburg framed in copper tone wooden frames with wire hanging hardware attached to back. One etching is titled ‘Rothenburg O.J.’ and features a side angle of the town hall of Rothenburg with bright red flowers in planters and on the rooftops. This etching is titled in pencil on the lower left corner ‘Rothenburg O..J’ and on the right corner in pencil reads ‘Original Radierung von Graf Paul Geissler’. Etching is signed in the lower right corner of the picture ‘Paul Geissler 1919’. The other etching is titled ‘Rothenburg O.J.’ in the lower left corner in pencil and features the beautiful buildings of Rothenburg with the famous clock tower in the background. Etching is signed ‘Paul Giessler 1920’ on the lower left side of etching, and in pencil below etching reads ‘Original Radierung von Graf Paul Geissler’.
