A signed limited edition Haviland china plate with artwork by Alain Thomas. This is the ‘Toucan Facing Right’ with only 250 copies made. Alain Thomas is recognized as the foremost artist of contemporary naïve painting and is referred as the artist in the Garden of Eden. The plate design is a highly detailed and bright colored tropical forest scene with birds, frogs, and insects hidden in the edges and a beautiful toucan in the center. Stamped signature on the reverse in gilt.
