A beautiful example of early transitional style; a 1900’s quarter sawn tiger oak sideboard with beveled mirror back and original cast brass hardware and casters. The item features two small drawers; one large drawer and a two door cupboard. The cupboard doors and pediment have incised and applied Arabesque style carvings in quarter sawn oak veneer with machine cut dovetail joined drawers. The buffet is intricately carved in regal designs featuring lion heads on both pillars and paw feet.
