Born in Denver in 1927, Eunice Katz was a painter known for her expressive figurative modernism, having studied at the Art Students League and Sculpture Center in New York. In 1962, she shifted her artistic focus to sculpture, studying with Edgar Britton, Marianne Hausmann, and Angelo di Benedetto. Her artwork has been exhibited across the nation and is included in the collection of the Denver Art Museum.

- cracking throughout; billowing to canvas; abrasions to frame.
