A hardcover offering of ‘Modern School Houses’ part II, illustrating and describing recent examples of school house design executed in the United States, published by The American Architect of New York, copyright 1915. The included plates begin with the frontispiece featuring a children playing in a kindergarten play year in Newark and continue throughout with full-page views and drawings; 169 plates in all. Includes views of several Cincinnati schools, including the Guilford School, Douglass School and Westwood Public School, all designed by Garber & Woodward. With blue fabric hardcover, embossed gilded title to the front and spine and sewn binding.

- heavy wear to the cover, binding a little loose from spine, toning.
