Fang Da Qing Qianlong Lidded Pedestal Vase

Item Details

A Fang Da Qing Qianlong covered urn, white with rich red painted foliage and landscape scenes, circa 1970s-80s. The crazed decorative vase has a pineapple finial handle with mold drooped leaves and a slight scalloped rim. The round body of the vase has double faux-molded ring handles and a square base. The Chinese style Fang Da Qing Qianlong maker’s mark is underneath, which translates to ‘Imitating Great Qing Dynasty Qianlong Period’, also known as the Macau style, that began in the 1970s after the Chinese cultural revolution.

Condition

- the vase has crazing and dirt spots along the finial, interior and along the body. Under the base has scuffs and adhesive stickers, but this may be removed.
