Large Set of Russian Matryoshka Nesting Dolls

A large set of Russian Matryoshka nesting dolls, made by a very unique process. A set of 17 Russian Matryoshka nesting dolls, bright and bold in primary shades of royal blue, gold, and black. These hand-painted wood creations are made using a unique technical skill. A soldering iron is used to execute elements of a burning on a tree. The face and floral paintings which appear on the front are different than the art on the reverse side. The face and mid-section have a special golden foil and glitter as the finishing touches, with each wood doll being slightly different. The unique feature of this large set is the framed figural depictions on the front of the largest dolls.
Condition
This set of nesting dolls are in good condition. The paint and glitter finish are very nice. The bases for the two smallest dolls have been repaired.
