Antique Primitive Wooden High-Back Bench with Charming Cutouts

An antique primitive wooden bench, painted black, with a high back and charming cutouts in the shape of hearts, spades, clubs and diamonds, across the back slats. The bench has winged side supports making it good and sturdy. An identical bench is offered as item 15CIN009-396. Provenance; the benches were from the Salmon P. Chase (renowned abolitionist) estate in Loveland, Ohio.
