Wooden typeset box filled with iron and copper anvils and hammers. Some anvils are engraved, stamped, or marked with a maker’s mark, location, and/or date. Some of the makers include: Alliance Drop Forging Co., The Kemper Thomas Co., Goldsmit-Black (1776-1976), The Bostwick-Braun Co., W.W. Pettis Co (Cincinnati, OH), Purdue, Indiana, and ‘HF.’
