A vintage poster for an exhibition at Coconut Grove, Miami, FL. Coconut Grove is the oldest modern continuously-inhabited neighborhood of Miami. The image featured here, created by an unknown artist, is reminiscent of 1980s giant Patrick Nagel. A woman, wearing incredible clothing that’s fairly psychedelic, sits on a beach, beneath a palm tree and a blue sky, sipping the tallest, and most wildly colored drink you’ve ever seen. The poster advertises the Coconut Grove Art Festival, which has been happening since 1963. The central graphic is surrounded by a pink border, and presented in a nice black composite frame.
