Blue Delft Pharmacy Tiles
Item Details
A group of four hand-painted Delft Burrough Pharmacy Tiles. These tiles were part of the Burrough Wellcome Company Pharmacy Education program. Each tile has a paper on the back describing the meaning of the tile. Makers mark on the back reads Delfts Schoonhaven Holland handmade. The tiles included are the ‘Burroughs Wellcome Co Pharmacy Scholarship program’, ‘1670 Thomas Favtrart’, ‘Twenty years of Commitment to Pharmacy Scholarship’ and ‘The Doctrine of the Four Humours’. All the porcelain tiles are ready to be hung.
