An eleven-issue comic lot of vintage 1973 Marvel Comics, featuring the ‘War of the Worlds’ storyline of Roy Thomas as found within the fluid content pages of the series Amazing Adventures. The story was based on concepts created by HG Wells, and was the foundation of the Killraven character. Notable is the artwork that was by Neal Adams and the first noted appearance of artist Howard Chaykin who went on to become a distinguished comic artist.

Condition

- comic books are in vintage read condition. This may include loose covers, missing covers, wrinkles or folds to the pages or cover, yellowing or darkening of the page edges, and possible tears or cuts to interior pages. Any condition issues visible beyond those listed will be called out in the description. Most of the comics if not all have been stored with boards and individually bagged in plastic sleeves. There may be tape residue to the bags.
