Bronze Era Jack Kirby "Kamandi" Comic Lot

A vintage lot of single issue comics in the ‘Kamandi – The Last Boy on Earth’ series created, written, and drawn by the prolific American comic book artist Jack Kirby (1917-1994). DC heads wanted a series to fill a similar niche as the currently popular ‘Planet of the Apes’ series and went to Jack Kirby to assist in the task, with Kamandi being the outcome. This lot includes consecutive issue numbers #4-9, and #13-32 of the series.

Items that are consigned with Certificates or Letters of Authenticity (COA) are listed as such with the item’s description. Autographs without COAs are compared to authenticated examples from online sources prior to sale upload. Furthermore the general condition of all comic related items is a visual assessment only and will range from Poor to Very Good and may or may not coincide with an item’s past or future grade from an authenticating/grading service. Everything But The House strongly recommends attendance to our scheduled Sale Preview for a personal assessment.

Condition

- comic books are in vintage read condition. This may include loose covers, missing covers, wrinkles or folds to the pages or cover, yellowing or darkening of the page edges, and possible tears or cuts to interior pages. Any condition issues visible beyond those listed will be called out in the description. Most of the comics if not all have been stored with boards and individually bagged in plastic sleeves. There may be tape residue to the bags.
