The bed was removed from the mansion shortly before it burned down and moved to Oaklawn Plantation. The bed comes with a book “Nachitoches and Louisiana’s Timeless Cane River”. |
Condition
- the foot board is a different style and appears to be a later association; extensive insect damage to the side rails and the legs of the headboard; several modifications and restorations; nicks and scratches overall; fabric covering is newer.
