1940's Slant Front Secretary Desk

A beautiful circa. 1940’s cherry finish Chippendale – style slant top secretary with 4 full width serpentine drawers in lower section. Willow mount hardware with handles adorns each drawer. Top opens to reveal 6 pigeonholes and 4 little drawers with brass knobs that copy the serpentine style. Center has a small door with a shell carving, surrounded by pillars that slide out and contain storage compartments. Legs have claw and ball feet. Wood supports pull out for tilt top to rest on when open. Made by Maddox Colonial Reproductions, Jamestown, NY.
