Claude Curry Bohm was an American artist and art teacher best known for his painting in the mediums of watercolor and oil. He studied art under Edward F. Timmons at the National Academy of Design in New York, and later at the Chicago Art Institute. Bohm’s artwork has been shown prominently across the country including in 1940 when he represented the state of Indiana during the national Contemporary Art of the United States exhibition. He has received many awards such as the Chicago Municipal Art League Prize, the Frederick N. Vance Memorial Award from the Brown County Art Gallery, and even a bronze medal from the San Francisco World’s Fair.
