Circa 1900 Glorious Stained Glass Window Insert

Item Details

A circa 1900 glorious vintage stained glass window insert displaying a laurel wreath design. The dark brownish-green surround on this item really accentuates the lighter coloration of the red ribbons, jewels, green wreath and lighter glass pieces around the wreath. The glass itself dates to around the turn of the century, but has been mounted into a newer wooden frame.

This is a very heavy item with lead came. There are soldered pieces to the wooden frame to prevent the glass from moving once hung. This piece needs a strong light source to really show off it’s beauty due to the dark glass that was used in the design.
