Circa 1927-1928 Victor "Credenza" Orthophonic Victrola

A Victor ‘Credenza’ orthophonic Victrola, that was manufactured between 1927 and 1928. The Italian Renaissance style cabinet is made of walnut veneer, and has four doors, featuring record storage. This model is the most famous of all the Victor orthophonic victrola models. The six foot internal folding horn is the longest inside horn that Victor made. It features a four spring motor, hand crank, a 12’ turntable, and air dashpots to lower the lid. ‘VV8-30 53651’ is stamped on a plaque inside the Victrola. It has a Greenville Piano decal inside the victrola lid. Included is a 78 RPM vinyl record by Bill Haley & The Comets, ‘Shake, Rattle and Roll’, along with some extra victrola styli. This Victrola from the roaring twenties is truly the cat’s pajamas!
