An antique lift-top pine wedding chest, stenciled ‘Liberty 1836 Ohio’ on the front panel. Stenciled design includes a central eagle with harps and vine design. The stenciling may have been added after the 1830’s.The unfinished interior includes an interior shelf box with plenty of space for keepsake items or linens. The chest has a upper skeleton key hole and is finished with bracket feet. This has hand cut dovetailed construction
