Rare Art Deco Bavaria Pottery Elephant
Item Details
A very rare 1930s piece of glazed pottery by German pottery company Bavaria. The elephant has a hole in trunk as well as his back. This elephant can be used as a vase or picture, however, this piece was originally designed as a cigarette holder. The cigarette holder piece (fits into back hole) is not available and is not included with the elephant. This piece is highly desirable and is exceptional as-is. The elephant is stamped ‘Bavaria’ on bottom of foot.
Condition
Wear is consistent with use and age. This elephant is in good condition throughout.
