Eugene F. “Gino” Hollander was a celebrated painter, Hollywood filmmaker, and World War II veteran. His work is held in many private and public collections throughout the world, including Museo Hollander, City College New York, the Herbert F. Johnson Museum at Cornell University, and is in the collections of many famous and influential people including Jacqueline Kennedy, Burt Lancaster, Ralph Lauren, Taki Fukushima, and others.

- notable billowing to canvas with extensive accretions and debris, mostly visible to the back side; at least one puncture to canvas; craquelure across painting; discolorations throughout; scuffs and nicks to frame; effaced frame finish; other signs of wear.
