A Vintage Asian Tansu Chest with Fabulous Decorative Hardware

An Asian Tansu chest with a bit of age and fabulous incised brass hardware at every corner and drawer front, large in size. The chest offers ample storage in a variety of drawers and cabinets. The attractive wooden chest is in a very dark, ebonized finish with batwing hardware at the drawers and an elaborate lock and key. Three drawers across the top are over two doors which open to allow access to the cabinet storage with one shelf. There are two further drawers at the bottom and the chest rests on a bracket base.

Condition

, with some cracks in the wood from age, however, this in no way diminishes the appearance.
