A Copco Michael Lax-designed Danish Modern cast iron paella pan in a deep cobalt blue enamel finish with white enamel interior. The pan is in a sleek curved form with side handles. Michael Lax was an industrial designer known for his craftsman-like appreciation for texture and color that enlivened household goods of the 1960’s. He introduced enamel to cast iron and designed products for Russel Wright, Lightolier, Dansk, Rosenthal, Salton, Dunbar Glass and Metaal. His Scandinavian-influenced flair is evident in many mid century items. The pan is marked to the verso.
