Antique Oak English Cottage Chair
Item Details
An antique oak English cottage chair in the spindle back style with a rush seat. The spindles in the backrest are hand carved. It has an elaborate front stretcher with simpler side and back stretchers. Front legs are tapered with a club and padded foot.
Condition
Wear consistent with age. Both finials have broken off at some point in time.
