President Andrew Jackson Locks of Hair

A lock of three strands of President Andrew Jackson’s hair. Andrew Jackson was the seventh President of the United States. This lock of hair came about when it was cut from his head right after his death in 1845. The letter of authenticity comes from University Archives, dated October 25, 2001. In addition, an autograph expert, Charles Hamilton, evaluated the original note that came with the hair and deemed it real. This lot only has the hair not the documents. There are photos of the documents that come with the hair.
