A Jerusalem silver Cross pendant or ’Crusader’s Cross’ first used in 1099 as the Coat of Arms for the newly established Kingdom of Israel marking the recapture of the city and the Christian Holy land by the First Crusade. It is said that the Jerusalem Cross represents Christ and Matthew, Mark, Luke and John and the spread of Christianity from it’s origins to the four corners of the Earth.Handmade in wirework, silver ball detail and comprised of a central Cross surrounded by four smaller crosses with cast images to back of Christ and the Holy Land, marked to back Jerusalem Silver 900 (90% pure silver – mark on antique jewelry).
