A fabulous Mollie Parnis Boutique of New York 1970s vintage bold linen floral print coat dress in a heavy chocolate brown and beige interwoven fabric, trimmed in brown grosgrain ribbon, with zipper down and stops at 15’ up from the hemline with slit and side pockets. A red handkerchief is sewn onto the pocket for an added burst of color, sleeve cuffs have two sets of snap buttons with a plastic decorative button in brown and ivory with flap to center back trimmed with buttons. Cuff lining is trimmed in off white lace with interior partially lined in an off white fabric with lining as well in the side pockets. Mollie Parnis’ designed for numerous First Ladies including Mamie Eisenhower, Lady Bird Johnson, Pat Nixon, Betty Ford and Rosalyn Carter.
Condition
Light signs of wear, a few spot stains in lining. Faded spot in front, zipper gets stuck app. 1 1/2" from the bottom. Good overall considering age.
