| Additional Information | The console has a decal to the front marked “Electro-Voice”, as does the largest floor speaker. Console components include a REK-O-KUT K33H turntable, an ae (Audio Empire) tone arm, a Fisher FM-AM Tuner Master Control 100-T, and an EICO MX99 Multiplex Autodapter. These components date from circa 1961. The console cabinet top and parts of the larger floor speakers are made of mahogany, with other components made of mahogany-stained wood. |
Condition
- wood cabinet and speaker cases with scattered nicks and scratches, most notably to base of cabinet and to front frames of speakers and to top of the smaller of the two floor speakers; interior of console cabinet with small losses to plastic tuning knobs, and some veneer lift to vertical board above record storage area; one of the two portable speakers with handle that is unattached, but present; some corrosion to reverse sides of audio components, which may not be complete; otherwise, with variable finish wear overall.
