Hurley grew up in a small midwestern Ohio town with rolling hills. She received a BFA from the College of Mount St. Joseph and continued her studies at The Art Academy of Cincinnati, including studying with renowned artist Wolf Kahn. Well-exhibited with work in private and corporate collections, Hurley is also a Signature member of the Pastel Society of America.
