The Birds
Item Details
A collection of all things relating to birds. There are two prints, one of a cardinal by Gene Gray in 1972 and the other a decorative piece. Another is a folk paper cutting, which is a combination of scissors cutting, water colors and ink on hand dyed paper. There are four charts by Jacob Bates Abbott 1948. One chart is of birds, one is of owls, and two are of various animals, all West Virginia varieties. Finally, there is a collection of xi bird figurines – a plaster parrot, two plastic birds, one pewter like bird, and two vintage bobble black birds which are original TICO productions.
Condition
This collection is in fair condition. There is fading to the wall charts and the prints. There are also some scuffs and minor nicks to some of the frames. The peacock piece has some very minor paper tears along the edges. The bobble black birds come with the original box. The box is dirty and in poor condition.
