An absolutely marvelous poster, dated 1952, advertising the round by round highlights of the Jersey Joe Walcott versus Rocky Marciano fight. This poster has a copyright date of 1952 RKO Radio Pictures, 52/9225, we believe this poster is a contemporary item. This was a legendary fight because Rocky was losing this bout until round thirteen, when he landed a punch that completely knocked Joe out, to the point Joe was draped over the ropes. Rocky became the new World Heavyweight. This poster is in yellow and black.
