Vintage German Baby Carriage

Item Details

A vintage German baby carriage circa the early 1970s. This carriage was purchased by the owner for his infant son while serving overseas in the military. The carrier is covered in blue vinyl with decorative stitching along the sides. The interior features a removable pad with an embroidered cotton cover. Under the mat, there is a sticker that reads, ‘Stegner-Kinderwagon’. There is an optional matching cover for the face of the carriage which is especially helpful on cold days. The body is made of steel, and includes a removable basket between the off-white rubber wheels.

Condition

Condition consistent with age. Small tears and scratches in cover, especially along edges and corners. There are a couple areas of discoloration which may be remedied with cleaning. Little rust present. Please attend sale preview for personal assessment.
