A Riverfront Stadium jersey patch and astro turf. Riverfront/Cinergy Field in Cincinnati will always be remembered for the ‘Big Red Machine’ of the Cincinnati Reds, Pete Rose’s hit that tied Ty Cobb’s all-time hit record, the 1990 Reds World Championships, Hank Aaron’s home run that tied Babe Ruth’s record and the Bengals ‘Freezer Bowl’ game against the San Diego Chargers. This item has a photo of a baseball night game, a patch that the Reds players jersey’s had sewn on their left arm and a piece of the astro turf. Riverfront opened in 1970 and closed in 2002, which is reflected on the patch. Please see photos.
