Unmatched Antique Silver Plate Meat Platter and Dome Cover
Item Details
An unmatched antique silver plate meat tray and dome cover. The extra large oval meat tray displays embossed curved handles with ribbed pattern and scrolled feet with embossed botanical pattern. The dome lid displays an incised pillow design and ornate embossed handle featuring fruit and botanicals; one side has an etched elk and is monogrammed and the other side has an etched crest with the Latin phrase translated as ‘Always Prepared’. Also included, a modern two prong meat holder.
Condition
- tarnish, small dents to the lid.
