Notes from Third Man Records Archivist Ben Blackwell:
Random assorted junk from the album cover photo shoot for the Raconteurs “Consolers of the Lonely” album. Some fake flowers arranged in an arch, a weird figure resembling some sort of amorphous blob of a zombie figure (dubbed ‘The American Monster’ by Jack White) wrapped in military green fabric. The monster is visible on the float/third panel of the triple-gatefold image on the ‘Consolers’ album and was constructed by local Nashville artists Angela Messina. Do whatever your weird ass wants with this creepy stuff. It’s your life.
