Selection of Hummel Plaques and a Trinket Box

A selection of Hummel plaques and a trinket box. The lot includes a framed pottery plaque and oval lidded trinket box both portraying ‘The Guardian’, a lamb and bird watching over the baby, both with the ‘modern Hummel Goebel’ mark dating the pieces to 2000 to today; a plaque portraying ‘Retreat to Safety’ hanging loop to the top, marked to the verso with the ‘stylized bee’ mark dating the piece to 1960-1972; a framed plate portraying ‘Serenade’; and lastly, a plate portraying ‘Valentine Joy’, the last two with the ‘missing bee’ mark to the verso dating the pieces to 1979-1991. There are four brass display stands included.
Condition
- to very good overall, some discoloration to the box and discoloration to the front of the “Valentine Joy” plate.
Dimensions
The plaques range in size up to “The Guardian” plaque at 5.5"H x 7.5"W x .75"D and the trinket box is 1.25"H x 4"W x 3"D.
