A set of early 20th century Towle ‘Old Colonial’ sterling silver. The pattern features a beaded, scroll and foliate design with a twisted finial style adornment. Pieces are monogrammed with a ‘W’ to underside of handle unless noted. Includes twenty-four dinner forks, twelve salad forks, twelve dinner knives (one knife has new blade and is monogrammed to top), twenty-four teaspoons (ten have ‘W’ monogram, one is not monogrammed and others have three to four different monograms), twelve soup spoons, nine tablespoons (five have script monogram of ‘TW’, four have ‘W’ monogram), twelve butter knives, nine small round spoons, nine demitasse spoons, a serving spoon, a ladle, two serving forks, one cheese server, two carving forks, a carving knife and a sharpener. Maker’s mark and ‘sterling’ to underside.

Condition

- one demitasse spoon is damaged and one butter knife has bends. Light wear consistent with age.
