- one missing leather handle to one side, and the other is broken; half of one hinge to back side of trunk has been painted red, while the other half is black; missing metal hardware to front end of one wood strap on lid; interior with missing tray and some tears along edges of fabric lining; otherwise, with scattered nicks, scratches and abrasions overall, consistent with age and use.
