American artist Daniel Burne Jones was born in 1908. He spent his adult life living in Chicago with his wife Lucille Jacquie Jones and their son. Burne Jones was a close friend of many artists including Rockwell Kent and Lynd Ward. Kent appointed Burne Jones as his bibliographer, and following his passing Burne Jones published The Prints of Rockwell Kent: A Catalogue Raisonné, the first of its kind in 1975. Alongside collecting other artists’ prints, Burne Jones produced his own such as lithographs and wood engravings. He also published books including The Least of These: Mickey, Beloved Itinerant and an Eerie Incident- a True Tale of Innocence.
